Bomber Community,
While the short week didn’t feel all that short, I’m confident that we made some real student learning progress this week in Bomber Nation.
I appreciate your adaptability with the mask status change this week. I can’t believe how quickly we got to this point, but it’s a good thing for the numbers to be trending downward in both the school and the community.
This week we had 10 cases of COVID-19 in the district, 12 probable close contacts and 3 family probable close contacts.
Tomorrow marks the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. It's crazy to think it has been 20 years since that horrendous day. I’m sure each of you can remember where you were “when the world stopped turning that September day.” I certainly can. I was a senior in high school in my first hour senior internship block.
To commemorate that day, I’m attaching some pictures captured by Karla Smith of the American Flag and our stadium scoreboard taken last week.
Have a great weekend and GO BOMBERS!
Jake
