October is here. It’s one of our busiest months in education. Here’s a little rundown of some of the things we have in store this month:
First Quarter Ends: October 15
Second Quarter Begins: October 18
Homecoming Week: October 18-22 - Theme is “Bombers on the Silver Screen”
Parade: Wednesday, October 20 at 5:30
Red Ribbon Week: October 25-28
Early Dismissal: Thursday, October 28 at 1 p.m.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Thursday, October 28 from 1-7 p.m.
Digital Learning Day (no school on campus): Friday, October 29
Teacher Independent Contract Day (no school for students): Monday, November 1
We also have lots of events going on at individual buildings this month, including school picture day, flu clinics, field trips, activity days, etc. It’s a great month to be a Bomber!
We continue to see a decline in COVID-19 cases. This week we had 3 positive cases in the district with no probable close contacts.
