Hackler Parents,
Over the past few days we have had an increased number of positive COVID-19 cases in our building. These cases can be traced back to a few classrooms, so as we contact trace, we are asking parents of students in those rooms to either quarantine their children or have their children tested for COVID-19. So far, in relation to this situation, we have identified 7 positive cases of COVID-19 and 28 probable close contacts. If you have not been contacted about your child needing to quarantine or be tested, that means we did not identify them as a probable close contact. However, with an increase in cases, it is important that all families monitor their children for signs and symptoms of the virus. If there is a doubt, please keep your child home and have them tested. This situation is not ideal, but it is a part of our current way of life, and we look forward to having all our staff and students happy, healthy, and back in our building soon.
